A night nurse is a healthcare practitioner specifically trained to ease new parents into their new routine, usually within the first six weeks of bringing a newborn home. Night nurses provide in-home services, usually between the hours of 10:00 pm and 6:00 am. While you’re awake, your night nurse can provide services such as emotional coaching and infant care lessons.
When you’ve gone to bed, your night nurse will look after your baby and ensure all of their needs (feeding, changing, and swaddling) are met.
